We had an incredible time with Alvin. We climbed the hills among the tea plantations while he explained to us the history of Munnar and how the tea is cultivated. We had a great breakfast at the top of the first hill. Then walked in nature for the rest of the morning. Alvin is a very passionate guide. He could answer all of our questions, he knows everything about plants and flowers around Munnar !

Alvin is a very pleasant guide, knows his way around very well and explains a lot about politics, history and a lot about the local flora and tea plantations during the hiking tour. We had a very nice hike, with great views! Alvin provides you with water bottles and snacks on the shorter tour (approx. 3-4 hours). He also takes nice souvenir pictures if you want! 🤗 Value for money was great!! Thank you very much!!

This was the best experience I could have imagined by a half day trek. Mainly because of Alvin, he knows so much about everything in the area both because his family’s background working in tea plantation and his education in agriculture. If we wouldn’t have gone with Alvin we would have missed so much of the nature. A home made meal for breakfast, an easygoing and open personality and showing us some places in town to buy lunch and fruits was the extra mile that really made this trek better than I ever could have expected. This tour can only be recommended. Alvin is a calm and very well informed guide, since his parents work in the tea-industry. The homemade breakfast was nothing short of delicious. He finds the perfect balance between talking and walking in silence; he answers all of your questions if you want to ask about anything. The half day tour was 4-5 hours of walking. Not really difficult, but you will probably arrive home tired. We booked the tour very spontaneous and contacted him on whatsapp on the late evening, 10 hours before the tour started - he was very uncomplicated and helped us out. Don‘t hesitate! Thank you Alvin!
